The race takes place entirely within the picturesque grounds of Trent Park Country Park, Enfield. It is a beautiful location with plenty of great views, woodland walks and fun running. This is an annual open event and attracts a full range of runners from the very fast elite, to first-timers and fun runners.
Many competitors return year after year. The course has everything, taking in grass and path, woods and open fields, a few hills and some fast roadway, but all within Trent Park. We have been frequently told that our annual race is well organised with lots of helpful and encouraging marshals.
There is easy access via public transport on the Piccadilly Line (Cockfosters) and by road, via M25 J24. There are a number of car parks in Trent Park and an overspill car park will be opened. We will have car parking assistants to help you park before the race. However, the park will still be open to other park users and there is a Junior Triffic Trail at 09:30. If you can use public transport or car share it would help ease any potential congestion. It is advisable to arrive early, especially if you are registering on the day. If the car parks are full then you will be asked to park outside the park and walk in.
A commemorative bespoke medal will be presented to all finishers and you can purchase a high-quality technical T-shirt when you register.
The race will be chip timed and the results will be available when you finish and online. There is free car parking, toilet facilities, water stations, baggage and changing facilities, two cafes and a children’s play area. The race has previously been highly commended in Runners World.
You can enter online here, there is a reduced entry fee for the first 50 early bird entries entering before 31st January 2023.
The race starts promptly at 10:30. All competitors will collect their race numbers and chip timing at the registration desk on the day. Prizes will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers respectively in the Senior, Vet and Super Vet categories (Male and Female) and to the first 60+ male and female finishers. A prize will be awarded to the first male and female finishers who break the course record. The prize-giving will take place at 12:00 noon in the finish area.
There is also a Junior Triffic Trail run. This event has grown since it was introduced in 2012 and has now been expanded and it is now open to all. This year we hope to increase the number of junior runners even further. The junior race starts promptly at 09:30 and is run within Trent Park. It is a 4.5k fully marshalled course. Every finisher will receive a commemorative medal. There will also be prizes for the first male and female finishers.
